Hi Everyone! Coming to you all on a Thursday this week, but don't you worry, Friday is jussst around the corner! :-) For today, rest your eyes on a color combo that is energizing enough to help you make it through the week, yet calm enough to ease you into a restful holiday weekend! This soft yellow added to a dreamy barely-there pink makes the most beautiful summer combo! Add Khaki as a neutral and then things really pop! The result is simple, pure, sunny-day romance... Enjoy! :-)

Truth be told. I've always been such a girl. Sure, I tried to play with the boys, show them I could hold my own in kickball... but yes, the things that make my heart pound are trimmed in ruffles and lace. Anything thats a little bit too frilly and reminds me of a big, fluffy pink peony- it immediately has my heart (...and also my wallet.) :-) Well anyway, all this girliness brings me to today's post... Inspired by the tea time my grandmother used to have every afternoon at 4:00. These tea times were complete with pretty china tea cups and saucers, cookies, homemade swedish coffee bread... everything. And we even had it outside on the porch sometimes. A subtle, old fashioned, tea party theme is ideal for a late afternoon garden wedding, in my mind. But obviously, so many other venues would work as well. It's what you want to do with it that matters! So sit back with some earl grey, and look to be inspired... which one of these ideas would you use? How would you add your personal touch? I'm excited to see what you think!

Good Morning Everyone! Alisha again, so glad to be back at the cafe on this fine Tuesday morning! The theme I have for you all today is inspired by vintage skeleton keys.
Whether you are looking for an entire themed wedding, a sweet, graphic motif to accent, an inspirational meaning, or to just add a little vintage feel to your big day, I think this montage of key-inspiration should do the trick in unlocking your imagination :-)
Everyone likes the unique, vintage feel of these keys. I think it is the inner romantic in all of us because as cheesy as it sounds -we all want to marry the one who holds the key to our heart- and as much as a lot of us hate to be cheesy, we love the idea. So, all cheesiness aside, I hope you enjoy today's post and are inspired to add a little old fashioned romance to your decor!

1. A sweet and simple bouquet gets a little more special with a vintage key attached to the burlap wrapping. So much romance in that combination of roses & keys.

Happy Friday Everyone! It's Alisha again, I'm so happy to be doing a second post for you all! It's been a great week, but as always, I happily welcome the weekend!
I've got a wonderful treat for all you summer color palette lovers out there. There are certain perfect color combinations that just make my obsessive-creative heart leap! This is one of those! I was inspired earlier this week by this gorgeous bouquet that Janie posted in this wedding, and I decided to run with it. It's a well known fact that opposites attract, and almost any shade of Coral and Gray paired together do just that. Something about that dull winter-sky shade paired with summery coral (the perfect mix of watermelon and sunshine...) just oozes happiness without being flashy. The result is exactly what you get when you eat pretzels with M&Ms. Pure joy. ~ A
