Happy Friday Guys, so sorry I'm a little late in posting...it's been a busy week at the full-time job....I have today off, but.....I have three meetings with lovely brides to discuss their wedding flowers for next year...I love meeting with my brides....the first floral item we'll chat about is the bride's bouquet...totally my favorite floral design of the wedding day...so to get me in the mood, a few lovely bouquets to share with you today...have a fabulous day and enjoy your weekend....xoxoxo

Hi Guys.....it's "Throwback Thursday" at the cafe....today, we are featuring a fun shoot we did back in 2010 with a few of my favorite people in the industry...I had such a wonderful time working with Jodi, Kurt and Lynn...I hope you enjoy this trip back down memory lane!!

Picture This.....DINING out doors on a lovely afternoon in the country....the table is lined with vintage teapots and teacups filled with peach garden roses....dahlias...parrot tulips...scabiosa pods and ornamental green cabbages. The place settings are all beautiful china that has been collected from antique shops.....the napkins are all handmade....and on the menu we have a beautiful Tarte au Citron and Croquembouche!
I had the pleasure of working with Jodi and Kurt of Jodi Miller Photography and stylist Lynn Lindsay of Sunshowers and Rainshine on this "French Antique Inspired " shoot.....I ALWAYS enjoy working with Jodi, Kurt, and Lynn...they are all so very talented and so inspiring.....I'm excited to introduce Lynn to all of you....she is AMAZING....the style concepts that she brings to each project is truly STUNNING...and she handmade all the napkins for the shoot....Kurt made the Croquembouche and the Tarte au Citron from scratch....florals designed by "me", JMFlora Design....... and Jodi and Kurt captured all the beauty....Enjoy!

| Stopping by the cafe today is one of my favorite people and photographers....our friend Juan of Juan Maclean Photography .....if you are familiar with Juan's work, then you know that he ROCKS!!!...just take a look at his site...be prepared to stay awhile...the images are all so beautiful...I love his style and today he sent over the beautiful images from Elizabeth & Connor's wedding story....cute couple...beautiful flowers designed by The Flowering Vine.....pretty dresses...and it even rained and I love it...let's check out all the magic captured by Juan...totally "swoon worthy"....Enjoy!!

| Happy Monday Lovelies…I’m so excited to share our featured wedding today…I received the sweetest email from Moniquilla, café reader and she’s also a Spanish pattern designer…..Moniquilla’s work is BEAUTIFUL…check out her lovely blog site here! She asked if she could share her wedding story with us and I’m so thrilled to have her stop by today…Moniquilla designed the invitations, envelopes, stickers, signature book, the gifts, the notebooks for the girls with her prints... and the most important, she designed her dress and her mother made it…how sweet is that!...all the beautiful images were captured by the AMAZINGLY talented Sara of MY JANAJAN Photography....and Cris of Nice Party was the AWESOME planner....and Moniquilla's beautiful hair accessory was from HATO......Enjoy!!

Hi Guys...the next two weeks are going to be unusally crazy busy for me...a couple of weddings + the cafe + the full time job...yes, you can call me "crazy lady" but with the help of my family and friends and lots of protein bars and tea and special prayers, I'll make it through! I'll be working with one of my favorite photographers next week and she's also one of my favorite ladies on the planet....the oh-so-fabulous Amelia of Amelia Johnson Photography....I love working with Amelia...she keeps me laughing and her work is AMAZING....she put together a few of her favorite florals on her lovely site and I wanted to share it with you...thanks so much Amelia...you ROCK!....xoxo

Happy Friday Guys....can you believe summer is coming to an end...time sure does fly!!....and about a month ago, my friend and AMAZING photographer, Suzy Clement, was visiting family in VA and she paid me a visit...we had the best time together....I love hanging out with Suzy....not only is she an incredible photographer, she's a wonderful mother and a great friend.
I couldn't let her leave without taking a few photos, so I made a quick trip to the market and picked up a few stems of summer blooms for Suzy to capture.....the wrap on the stems is actually a sash by Vera Bradley.......not only is it a cute handle wrap for the bouquet, but it can also be a gift for the bridesmaids. How cute of a keepsake would this make for the bridesmaids…she is sure to think about the wedding each time she wears it. I love the “paisley” pattern on this scarf….so fun!!
Suzy, thanks so much for a fun day...can't wait to see you "next year" and yes, y'all, that's me holding the bouquet....have a great weekend everyone....xoxoxo

| Happy Monday Guys...we are opening the cafe with two of my favorite ladies.....one, a insanely talented photographer...and the other, an insanely talented floral designer...you all know their work and there really is no need for an introduction....my beautiful friends, Elizabeth Messina of Kiss The Groom and Kathleen Hyppolite of Kat Flower....a few weeks ago, Kat flew out to sunny CA and spent a few day with Elizabeth...Kat had the pleasure of being the floral contributor for the Knot Fall 2012 issue and of course Elizabeth was there to capture all the beautiful moments and the front cover....what a dynamic duo!! After the shoot, Kat held a mini flower school with Elizabeth's lovely daughters and Elizabeth sent over a few images to share with us....simply GORGEOUS!!! Enjoy!!
