Welcome back to Part II of "Bouquet Friday"....if you are just joining us, make sure you check out our lovely interview with the beautiful and talented, Megan Gray of Honey and Poppies.
I woke up this morning around 3:00 and I could not go back to sleep, I hate those nights, especially, since I went to bed a little after midnight....I get back up and turn on the computer and start "blog surfing"...for some reason, I googled my name...(do you ever do that)...during the google search, I came across a DIY feature I did for Design*Sponge a couple of years ago...OMG...my DIY Spring Flower feature.....what a lovely surprise....so, I thought I would share a "spring flower blast from the past" with you today...Spring is my favorite time of the year and the flowers are all so incredibly gorgeous....I tend to always over buy when I'm purchasing flowers at this time of the year....I just can't help it, they are all calling my name.
I don't know about you guys, but I love having fresh flowers in my home and a few of my favorite spring blooms are shown below...as you can see, I gathered these lovelies together to make a couple of spring arrangements...but, using any of these pretty flowers in cute bud vases or any simple containers you may have around your home would be the perfect fit. Have a great weekend guys and I'm pretty sure I'll be having "nap time" today....Enjoy....xoxo

Looking for a fun way to decorate the dinner table...you all know I'm all about the flowers....but, why not incorparte a few veggies in the mix! Everytime I'm at Whole Foods, I get drawn into all the gorgeous vegetables...not to buy them to cook, but to decorate with them and the cool thing about it, the vegetables and the flowers are side-by-side at our Whole Foods...great marketing on their part!
Well, I finally got a chance to put together a "Veggie Tablescape" with the help of stylist, Dana FitzGerald and photographer, Emme Wynn. The florals + veggies cost around $45.00....and no need to buy new linens and tablesettings....use what you have in your home...I'm sure you'll be surprised at the beautiful pieces you've collected and have totally forgotten about them. Mixing vegetables with florals are certainly eco-friendly and you can always reuse some of the veggies the next day!
Let's check out all the veggies on the table...Enjoy!

Happy Friday Guys and I'm so ready for the weekend....it's "Bouquet Friday" and I've got a pretty little spring bouquet for you today....I think you're going to love this one and I'm hoping that it will put a smile on your face...the color palettes are all so soft and this bouquet has that "just picked from the garden" look and feel to it.
I made this bouquet (oh, yeah...totally forgot to mention that this is a JMFlora bouquet)....yes, I made this bouquet a few weeks ago and I love all the pretty blooms....ranunculus, sweet peas, tulips, scabiosa, queen anne's lace, maiden hair fern, seeded eucalyptus and jasmine vine. Capturing all the prettiness is my friend and AMAZING photographer, Amelia Johnson....Enjoy!!
