| Happy Friday Guys....I've got a busy day and weekend ahead of me...as a matter of fact, the next couple of months will be insane....and yes, I love it!! So, you all know my partner in "floral crime", Dana and I were at Pottery Barn for our first "Flower Pop-Up Shop" and it was a huge success.....the staff at Pottery Barn is the best EVER!!!...huge shout outs to all of them and the customers were AMAZING......in fact, they have requested that we come back on a regular basis....I'm so excited about this new "floral chapter" and we are contributing a portion of the proceeds to St. Jude's Hospital....so, today, I want to share a few fun moments from last weekend and I have to give a huge shout out to my girl Jennifer, she came over on Friday night and helped us out....and thank you to all of the wonderful customers for stopping by and to my wonderful friends for all of their support....xoxo

Today, it's all about decorating with succulents....totally one of my favorite flowers and it's so wonderful to see that brides are incorporating them more into their wedding decor.....I love their organic look and feel and the best part about them...they are very hardy flower and succulents are great as favors for your guests...they can take them home and plant them......an excellent source for purchasing beautiful succulents for your big day, Fifty Flowers.com....they provided all the succulents for our shoot and they were perfect!
So I got together with Amelia of Amelia Johnson Photography, prop stylist, Dana Fitzgerald, makeup artist, Erika Nixon and our beautiful model, Cameron and we had a fun afternoon......Dana and I wanted to share with you a few different ways to incorporate succulents into your wedding day or for a lovely dinner at your home......and as always, Amelia did a fabulous job capturing all the beauty from the shoot....and you can also see images from the shoot over at one of my favorite wedding sites, Green Wedding Shoes....Enjoy!!

I know what you're thinking....it's not "Bouquet Friday"....yes, I'm a day early...but I know how much you guys love pretty flowers and I just couldn't wait to share and to be perfectly honest.....I was exhausted when I got home from work yesterday and I needed to be able to post something quickly and get to bed!.....no worries, I have a "killer" floral feature for you on tomorrow as well....see how how much I love y'all!
My girl Jennifer and I, designed a few floral pieces for a photo shoot a few weeks ago...after the shoot I brought these pretty blooms home and a few days later, photographer, Emme Wynn and stylist Dana FitzGerald were visiting and we put together a little something just for fun....purple amenones, purple sweet peas, purple lisianthus, viburnum, green hydrangea, black parrot tulips.....still so pretty and lively after 4 days on a style shoot and being moved around a few hudred times....yes, the "flower angels" were truly with us.....Enjoy your day....see ya back at the cafe on tomorrow....xoxo

Looking for a fun way to decorate the dinner table...you all know I'm all about the flowers....but, why not incorparte a few veggies in the mix! Everytime I'm at Whole Foods, I get drawn into all the gorgeous vegetables...not to buy them to cook, but to decorate with them and the cool thing about it, the vegetables and the flowers are side-by-side at our Whole Foods...great marketing on their part!
Well, I finally got a chance to put together a "Veggie Tablescape" with the help of stylist, Dana FitzGerald and photographer, Emme Wynn. The florals + veggies cost around $45.00....and no need to buy new linens and tablesettings....use what you have in your home...I'm sure you'll be surprised at the beautiful pieces you've collected and have totally forgotten about them. Mixing vegetables with florals are certainly eco-friendly and you can always reuse some of the veggies the next day!
Let's check out all the veggies on the table...Enjoy!

Hi Guys.....it's "Bouquet Friday" at the cafe and today I'm sharing one of my favorite color palettes with you...corals...yellows....and an unexpected touch of blue. I find this color palette to be romantic, yet still fun and the fluffy coral peonies in the mercury containers bring such an elegance to the table.
The blue accents are brought in with the ribbon table runner and to reference the yellow ranunculus, we choose the golden yellow napkins. Using the mercury containers as our vessels for the florals and mercury accents with the votives and candleholders brought the look all together...a lovely table for your wedding reception...rehersal dinner...or simply entertaining at your home with friends and family. Enjoy!!
