| Hello Lovelies.....I've been a little busy the past two weeks...well, I guess I should say a little busier than normal.....I had a wedding last weekend and I love this time of the year for all the beautiful blooms and one of my favorites are the Cafe Au Lait Dahlias.....aka..."dinnerplate dahlias"......I LOVE LOVE LOVE these vibrant peachy big blooms with their wavy petals...we used them last weekend and I had the pleasure of having the oh-so beautiful and talented Marta of Marta Locklear Photography capture their beauty.....you'll get to see the wedding soon....here's a sneak peek of one of the centerpieces from the wedding....Enjoy!!

I'm sure you all have heard of "The NotWedding"....well, I have to share a few images with you from their gorgeous 2011 event......our beautiful friend, Callie Murray is the lady behind The NotWedding....launching the first one in 2008, it has truly been so fun to see how Callie has expanded on this AWESOME event...I'm so proud of her and all that she has done for all the brides-to-be out there...and I'm equally as happy to have Callie stop by and share a little bit of The NotWedding world with us...Enjoy!
Callie shares a little info with us....."The NotWedding 2011 Atlanta was an incredible night full of inspiration. Guests received a wedding invitation as their ticket upon arrival and were then led by our ushers to their seats at handmade farm tables, each with a unique tablescape from one of our designers. The bridal party entered to Mumford & Son’s “Sigh No More”, and spoken word artist Sean Grant led an emotional wedding ceremony (seriously, tears were shed)! Guests enjoyed dinner and sangria, the cake was cut and “toasts” were given to the vendors who had made the event possible. A song-and-dance flashmob ensued in the crowd, the band joined in, and guests danced the night away. The last song included a confetti-and-ballon drop, and guests were able to meet the vendors and “trick-or-treat” for gifts and information through the “Tunnel of Love” on their way out."
