Table Decor - "French Antique Inspired"
Picture This.....DINING out doors on a lovely afternoon in the country....the table is lined with vintage teapots and teacups filled with peach garden roses....dahlias...parrot tulips...scabiosa pods and ornamental green cabbages. The place settings are all beautiful china that has been collected from antique shops.....the napkins are all handmade....and on the menu we have a beautiful Tarte au Citron and Croquembouche!
Well, a couple of weeks ago, I had the pleasure to work with Jodi and Kurt of Jodi Miller Photography and stylist Lynn Lindsay of Sunshowers and Rainshine on this "French Antique Inspired " shoot.....I ALWAYS enjoy working with Jodi, Kurt, and Lynn...they are all so very talented and so inspiring.....I'm excited to introduce Lynn to all of you....she is AMAZING....the style concepts that she brings to each project is truly STUNNING...and she handmade all the napkins for the shoot....Kurt made the Croquembouche and the Tarte au Citron from scratch....florals designed by "me", JMFlora Design....... and Jodi and Kurt captured all the beauty....Enjoy!

I have to give a special "shout out" to my friends, Dee and Perry for letting us use their beautiful home for the shoot...you guys are the best and to Pat, (Dee's neighbor and my friend) for letting us borrow the sugar for the Croquembouche:)

pretty florals + mason jars
| I grew up in a cute little town called Kenbridge......yes, it's in VA.....it reminds me of Mayberry on the Andy Griffith Show...and one of my fondest memories growing up was watching my mom "can" fruits and vegetable during the summer months. My mom would always use some of the mason jars and put beautiful flowers from her flower garden in them...it was such a treat seeing the different florals in the jars....so...the other week my girlfriend Jenn was over and we thought it would be sweet to make a few "girly" arrangements in a few mason jars.....I think these would be so cute designed in clusters on the wedding reception tables and at the end of the night, your guest could take them home....let me know what you think....and thanks for the inspiration mama...xoxo

| The arrangements are a mix of sweet peas, tulips, helleborus, fritilaria, fern culs and hyacinths.

Real California Wedding - Carrie & Ryan

Craig share a little info with us......."On May 8th, Carrie and Ryan were married among the vineyards and mission style buildings at the beautiful Wente Winery in Livermore, California. It was a bit cold during the ceremony and their priest humorously rambled on a bit, but coincidentally, the heart of his sermon was brought up again by one of Ryan's best men, Michael. The magic of their words talked about the definition of love and how it is one of the rare things in life that just "is." The essense of Love, of couples like Carrie and Ryan, of soul mates, is that of their "Isness." Maybe you can see how there were humorous moments while these two spoke of how Carrie and Ryan "is" and "are" and that there really isn't any other way to describe the indescribable feeling they share--that which is known as "Love!"

Spring & Summer Floral Inspiration at The Cafe
| Happy Weekend Everyone....let's go back down "Memory Lane"with one of my favorite "floral shoots" with the beautiful images from the "Spring/Summer Tablescape" I had the pleasure of working on with Courtney'of Merriment Events and Little White Book.....and Leo Patrone of Leo Patrone Photography....we all had such a wonderful time working on this feature.....I'm especially loving the pretty color palettes of the ivory and apricot garden roses....salmon parrot tulips and sherbert ranunculus......so gorgeous for a spring/summer wedding......Enjoy!
