Say hello to Erin & Bryan....well, Erin stopped by the cafe last year to share her beautiful jewelry designs with us...check out her feature here.....I'm so excited to have her stop by today and she is not alone...Erin is here with her hubby Bryan....their gorgeous wedding story was captured by my friends, Anne and Bill Holland of Holland Photo Arts......I ADORE Anne and Bill...their work is always GORGEOUS and they are the sweetest couple...I always enjoy being in their company....let's check out all the magic....Enjoy!!

Anne and Bill share a little info with us......."Erin and her handsome hubby, Bryan, were married at Veritas Vineyard in early Spring and infused their DIY celebration with rustic elegance. Her Mom and her French class made hundreds of origami paper cranes that decorated the escort cards, as well as hung from a tree above them. Guests received mini jade plants and her Grandma Helen's coffee cake as favors. Erin, of course, made her bridesmaid's earrings, charm bracelets (each received a word charm that summed up why she loved them) and her groom's ring (engraved with "Put Me Back On"!) Their deep and abiding love for each other warmed everyone in attendance on the cool Spring day. They call Charlotte, NC home and their day was just full of fun and southern charm!"

Welcome back to the GORGEOUS wedding of Lulie & Harrison....their wedding is filled with beauty...charm.....and so many sweet and personal touches....I LOVE IT!!!....capturing their beautiful wedding story is the AMAZINGLY talented and oh-so-sweet...Jessica Purvis of  Jessica Purvis Photography....Jessica's work is simply beautiful....she totally captures the couple's wedding stories and I'm so happy to have stop by and share all the magic of Lulie & Harrison's special day with us!

You are going to LOVE  Lulie's gorgeous wedding dress and the bridemaids dresses...here's the scoop from Lulie about them.....

"The bridesmaid dresses were designed by my college friend, Carol Hannah Whitfield, who was on Project Runway.  She now does wedding attire pretty much exclusively and sells it off Etsy....and then my wedding dress was my mother's.  It had been stashed away in my grandmother's attic until about two years ago.  My sisters and I had never seen it, and when I saw it, I was  obsessed!  The only thing I had done to it was to add a band around the bottom because it was too short."

Welcome back Guys....Janice Carnevale of Bellwether Events, sent over the cutest feature to share with us...it's called "Rock the Frock".....Janice shares all the info below and you'll see from the images that they all had a great time putting this feature together and capturing it all is cafe sponsor Allison Britton of A Britton Photography...Allison's work is ALWAYS so beautiful and she is such a sweet lady...let's check out all the fun with Jamie & Alec....aren't they just the cutest couple....Enjoy!!

From Janice......"This submission is what one might call a "Rock the Frock" (as Trash the Dress is not quite right) photo shoot with a recently married couple. Jamie and Alec live in the DC area, but were married in
New Jersey. Jamie did a boudoir session with A Britton Photography and really enjoyed working with her. She and her now-husband Alec inquired about doing a post-wedding photo shoot with Allison in their current home town: Washington DC. Allison knew that I wanted to style a shoot in Eastern Market and brought us all together. I got to know the couple, so that I could incorporate some of their favorite things while we walked around Eastern Market and the surrounding neighborhood. There are a few images attached, but I have over 80.

Eastern Market, just in case you don't know, is large market with an outdoor section featuring mostly handmade crafts and goods. The indoor building features groceries and other perishables. There is also a large empty room with a dance floor. The first time I ever went there I knew immediately I wanted to bring a bride & groom there in wedding day attire to do a guerrilla-style photo shoot. There are so many interesting booths and colorful items for sale. Jamie and Alec were great sports in the sweltering June heat."

"The designing began with the shower invites introducing the very antrho-inspired girly shower we were expecting to have for her. I included a recipe card for each guest to bring with her to include in a recipe book we gave the bride-to-be. Green, gold, pink and white were the colors I chose to enhance all the little DIY details like spray painted vases, vintage buttons, floral fabric, artwork featuring their engagement photos, and a tasty little candy bar with all of her favorite candies."

Hi Everyone...I had to stop by and share some fun and exciting news with you....if you are going to be in the Tidewater, VA area on Wednesday, September 29th, make sure you check out Events Unveiled - Beyond The Centerpiece with Donnie Brown.....check out all the info!!

First, a bride-to-be needs a groom. Next—and almost as important—she needs the expert assistance of celebrity wedding planner Donnie Brown. Although other wedding planners may excel at arranging for the flowers, caterer, and music, Donnie stands alone in the charm, good humor, and calm professionalism he brings to a truly demanding job. That easygoing attitude, which shines through every page of this book, makes for an efficient planning process that might just turn out to be enjoyable, too.

Donnie Brown Weddings

To ensure that his readers hire the right people, Donnie lists not only what questions to ask each vendor, but also what their answers should be. Complete with detailed timelines and checklists, this hard-working guide makes certain that every last thing gets done within budget and on time. Who said that a diamond is a girl’s best friend? When it comes to her wedding, it’s Donnie Brown.

Meet Donnie Brown in person and have your book signed at Events Unveiled – Beyond the Centerpiece, presented by the Hampton Roads chapter of the International Special Events Society (ISES).  Wednesday, September 29, 2010Norfolk Waterside Marriott.  This event features exhibits, demonstrations, and a tabletop competition by some of the top event professionals.  Come and be inspired!
