bridal bouquet and floral crown

Happy Monday Guys...I hope you all had a wonderful weekend...thanks so much for stopping by the cafe....we are opening with a lovely "Winter Wedding Inspiration" shoot captured by Kylee Ann Photography....Kylee sent all the beautiful images over to me on yesterday and the shoot actually took place on Saturday.....I think it's safe to say that Kylee and the "dream team" of wedding artists involved with the shoot all ROCK!!!

Here's a little bit about the shoot from Kylee...." Winter in our home town is cold and snowy. We typically call this “dead season” in the wedding world. We wanted to prove that weddings can be beautiful and unique no matter what season. Together with the best vendors in town, we put together a little styled shoot in a abandon warehouse."

Let's check out all the magic....Enjoy!!

Happy Wednesday Everyone....Alisha is stopping by the cafe today to share a beautiful feature on one of my favorite things...ribbons!! Let's take a peak at all the prettiness...Enjoy!!

Ribbons are the first thing that comes to mind when you think about crafts, gift wrap, and things you used to tie in your hair as a little girl... but what about weddings? Recently, different ways to use ribbons have been popping up all over the blogs and magazines. They are an inexpensive, mostly simple way to express your personality in your decor, and the opportunities to customize are endless! So as you read on, re-think those old spools of craft ribbons in your gift wrap closet and how they can inspire you to create something new.

1. Inspired by an Anthropologie floor set, a gorgeous cascade of paper ribbons creates the perfect backdrop for a rustic or empty-looking venue. Oh, yeah, and that's a DIY made from receipt tape by the way.

Good Morning Everyone! Alisha again, so glad to be stopping by the cafe on this fine Tuesday morning! The theme I have for you all today is inspired by vintage skeleton keys.

Whether you are looking for an entire themed wedding, a sweet, graphic motif to accent, an inspirational meaning, or to just add a little vintage feel to your big day, I think this montage of key-inspiration should do the trick in unlocking your imagination :-)

Everyone likes the unique, vintage feel of these keys. I think it is the inner romantic in all of us because as cheesy as it sounds -we all want to marry the one who holds the key to our heart- and as much as a lot of us hate to be cheesy, we love the idea. So, all cheesiness aside, I hope you enjoy today's post and are inspired to add a little old fashioned romance to your decor!

1. A sweet and simple bouquet gets a little more special with a vintage key attached to the burlap wrapping. So much romance in that combination of roses & keys.
