| Happy Wednesday Guys....I've got the sweetest wedding to share with you today...say hello to Alexandra & Brandon...their wedding really reminds me of what weddings are all about....the bride and groom and their families sharing their special day...and this is exactly how their wedding story goes....Alexandra & Brandon planned their wedding in three weeks...they were married at sunset and it was simply the sweetest, most intimate wedding and capturing all the beautiful images, Jessica Mae Photography....Jessica totally captured their wedding story so beautifully...I'm so excited to have her stop by the cafe today and double happy because she's right here in VA!!! Happy Friday Guys...what's on your agenda for the weekend!...we are opening the cafe with one of my favorite flowers...the oh-so-beautiful dahlias....I LOVE THEM!!!!...seriously I do!! There are so many varieties and so many pretty shades and I'm obsessed with the deep rich colors of the burgundy and black ones and the cafe au lait are also one of my favorites...dahlias are gorgeous in boquets and centerpieces and you can place a single stem in a cute vase and it'll be the perfect floral accent to your home...let's check out a few of my favorites...Enjoy!!

| The saying 'Virginia is for Lovers" was really made for this cute couple! Katie & Chris got married in Virginia Beach, VA this past June. The lovely Isha Foss of Isha Foss Events designed all the GORGEOUS florals for their big day and as always, Isha and her fab team did an AMAZING job....capturing all the beauty of the day, one of my favorite photographers and he's just one of the nicest guys, AND, he's a cafe sponsor....our friend Echard of Echard Wheeler Photography....you are going to love all the fun details and Katie has the most beautiful smile....seriously, her smile is contagious! Hi Guys...the next two weeks are going to be unusally crazy busy for me...a couple of weddings + the cafe + the full time job...yes, you can call me "crazy lady" but with the help of my family and friends and lots of protein bars and tea and special prayers, I'll make it through! | Hi guys, today's featured wedding took place right here in Richmond, VA and JM Flora Design, aka..."me"....had the pleasure of providing all the wedding flowers for Laura & Dan....Laura was so much fun to work with it...we had a ball chatting on the phone and I finally got to meet the beautiful bride on her wedding day...(it seems to be the norm for me...my brides are "long distance", so I get to meet them on their wedding day)....Laura & Dan are the cutest couple...their wedding reception took place at the VMFA .......Laura shared with me that she wanted her wedding to be not only about her & Dan, but also about her family and friends....she wanted her bridesmaids to wear the dresses they wanted to wear and she expressed to me that she wanted everyone to be comfortable and enjoy the day....capturing their wedding story, the oh-so-fab and talented, Katie of Katie Stoops Photography...Katie's work is always AMAZING...and always "picture perfect"....Enjoy!!
