Hi Guys...thanks so much for stopping by the cafe...I've been MIA and I'm so sorry...it's been SO busy for me this year...I've taken on a few more weddings than usual (and I'm loving it) and I got promoted at the full-time job and you know that means extra responsibilities....so between the full-time job, weddings, meeting with clients and The Bride's Cafe, well, there are just so many hours in the day and I have to carve out a little time for the family...OMG..I'm exhausted just writing this!

I will always find time for beautiful flowers..they make me happy and they always bring a calmness into my life...a few weeks ago, I got together with my beautiful friend Courtney of Merriment Events and Chrissy and Sara of Sweet Spot Candy...together we collobrated on a vibrant color palette inspirtation of pink, orange and yellow for the Artful Wedding event....we were so excited to be a part of the event and so excited to meet the guest speaker, Abby of Style Me Pretty...she is such a sweetheart and it was so much fun chatting with Abby and her husband....they are truly two of the nicest people....such a joy meeting them!!

Happy Monday Guys...hope everyone had a lovely weekend...there's no better way to start  the week off than with pretty florals....and today I have a lovely centerpiece filled with white tulips, white ranunculus, and white anemones....mix with lots of textures and it's totally ready to adorn the reception tables or I'm sure we can find the perfect spot for it in your home....capturing all the details, my friend Cyn of Cyn Kain Photography!  Cyn's work is always so beautiful...make sure you check out her site.....Enjoy!!!

Hi All....a few weeks ago I was scheduled to design flowers for a couple of tablescapes for a photo shoot...well, as in life, things happen and we didn't get to do the shoot....no worries, we couldn't let the flowers go to waste and I did promise you guys that I would start sharing more floral features at the cafe...so, here you go!

And perfect timing for a bright and "colorful" centerpiece...it's so cold in RVA today and this little pretty reminds me of a spring day with all the yummy and vibrant color palettes....and take note that the some of the tulips and the peonies are fully blown open...the arrangement was 4 days old when the image was captured by Cyn Kain Photography! 

This was my first time working with Cyn.....she's such a beautiful person...inside and out and her work is simply lovely...make sure you check out her site!!

Hi Guys...the next two weeks are going to be unusally crazy busy for me...a couple of weddings + the cafe + the full time job...yes, you can call me "crazy lady" but with the help of my family and friends and lots of protein bars and tea and special prayers, I'll make it through!  I'll be working with one of my favorite photographers next week and she's also one of my favorite ladies on the planet....the oh-so-fabulous Amelia of Amelia Johnson Photography....I love working with Amelia...she keeps me laughing and her work is AMAZING....she put together a few of her favorite florals on her lovely site and I wanted to share it with you...thanks so much Amelia...you ROCK!....xoxo
