Happy Monday Guys.....I thought it would be fun to bring back some of the cafe's beautiful weddings from past features to share with you today....so to kick things off, let's start with one of my favorite couples, Rhona & Justin!

I have some EXCITING news to share with all of you today.....one of my favorite floral and event designers and someone who I'm so happy to call my friend, Matthew Robbins, will be visiting Richmond, VA on June 24th as the guest speaker at Richmond Bride's Eight Annual Artful Wedding event.... and the cafe is giving away a pair of tickets....that's right, one lucky cafe reader will win a pair of tickets to come out and see Matthew....it's going to be a fun evening and you don't want to miss it....the event takes place at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts....check out all the details here!

I have some gorgeous color-palette eye candy for you all today! I am inspired by the refreshing hue of mint. It's kind of the more green version of sky blue... and it's amazingly versatile! I had about five different color combinations in my mind that worked well with mint, but as soon as I saw it next to my favorite hue of pink- the decision was made. Blush is exactly what the name says it is. Its three parts au-natural and two parts happiness. The perfect compliment to cool mint. The best thing about this combo is that I can picture it in a romantic, outdoor wedding just as much as I can see it in an indoor museum venue against stark-white walls. It is the perfect combination for those wishing to create an ethereal look to their wedding while still adding color. So sit back and soak in this refreshing color palette and be inspired! ~ A

Good Morning everybody and a very happy first day of November! I am so excited to share this very special wedding with you! My wonderful friends Mr. & Mrs. Stells!
Katie & David’s elegant Richmond wedding took place on October 9th, just a few weeks ago on what seemed to be the most perfect fall day of all time. They were married inside the stately Cannon Chapel on the beautiful University of Richmond campus, and celebrated with guests afterwards at Willow Oaks Country Club. I was so lucky to be a part of their wonderful day – my first official experience in wedding planning! –I could not have wished for a better Bride & Groom to work with!
When I first spoke to Katie about her wedding vision she knew she wanted something that would be remembered as timeless, elegant & classic. All adjectives that very well describe her graceful personality. (I have told her more than once that she reminds me of Kate Middleton…) With a color scheme of plum, gold & champagne, and a venue with as much romance & history as the couple themselves… we were off to a good start! The photography was done by Vera & Brian of Vera Pakizer Photography. I think they did such a wonderful job of catching the overall atmosphere of the day! Hope you enjoy the photos ;-)

Happy Saturday Everyone....let's take a trip "Back Down Memory Lane" with the fun e-session of Charli & Gibran....one of my favorite e-sessions and couples from last year...Charli & Gibran are married now and Charli writes the cutest blog called Man Wife Dog...make sure you check it out!
{First featured June 2010}....I received the sweetest email from our beautiful cafe reader, Charli.....she shared with me how much she loved stopping by the cafe each day and that she would love to share her and Gibran's, (hubby-to-be), engagement session with us.....I'm so happy that she did....Charli & Gibran are so cute and so in love....you can totally see it in the images...I love how playful they are and capturing all the fun is one of the cafe's favorite photographers and favorite ladies...Diana of Di Bezi Photography....let's check out all the fun and Charli shares a little info with us...it's such a cute story.....Enjoy!!
