| Hi guys, today's featured wedding took place right here in Richmond, VA and JM Flora Design, aka..."me"....had the pleasure of providing all the wedding flowers for Laura & Dan....Laura was so much fun to work with it...we had a ball chatting on the phone and I finally got to meet the beautiful bride on her wedding day...(it seems to be the norm for me...my brides are "long distance", so I get to meet them on their wedding day)....Laura & Dan are the cutest couple...their wedding reception took place at the VMFA .......Laura shared with me that she wanted her wedding to be not only about her & Dan, but also about her family and friends....she wanted her bridesmaids to wear the dresses they wanted to wear and she expressed to me that she wanted everyone to be comfortable and enjoy the day....capturing their wedding story, the oh-so-fab and talented, Katie of Katie Stoops Photography...Katie's work is always AMAZING...and always "picture perfect"....Enjoy!!

| Happy Friday Guys....I've got a busy day and weekend ahead of me...as a matter of fact, the next couple of months will be insane....and yes, I love it!! So, you all know my partner in "floral crime", Dana and I were at Pottery Barn for our first "Flower Pop-Up Shop" and it was a huge success.....the staff at Pottery Barn is the best EVER!!!...huge shout outs to all of them and the customers were AMAZING......in fact, they have requested that we come back on a regular basis....I'm so excited about this new "floral chapter" and we are contributing a portion of the proceeds to St. Jude's Hospital....so, today, I want to share a few fun moments from last weekend and I have to give a huge shout out to my girl Jennifer, she came over on Friday night and helped us out....and thank you to all of the wonderful customers for stopping by and to my wonderful friends for all of their support....xoxo

Hi Guys...get ready for some serious "wedding eye candy"...stopping by the cafe is one of my favorite ladies on the planet and she's an AMAZING photographer, my friend Eleise of Eleise Theuer Photography....it's been way to long since Eleise last made a visit so she knew she had to "bring it" and that she did!

Happy Monday Guys....hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Let's open the cafe with one of my favorite flowers...Peonies! I love them! I think peonies are one of the most romantic flowers and I adore their sweet fragrance....their "ruffle-like" blooms are so soft and feminine.....truly a top pick for wedding floral.....whether you want to carry a bouquet of them or a single stem, you don't have to do a lot of "arranging" to them, which makes them perfect for a DIY wedding or for your home.
A couple of weeks ago, the wonderful folks from FiftyFlowers, sent me the most beautiful Sarah Bernhardt Peonies....in case you didn't know, FiftyFlowers is a great resource for wholesale flowers for DIY weddings and events.
So, I created a little "Peony Love" (right in my own back yard) and my girl Katie of Katie Stoops Photography stopped by to capture all the details. Thanks so much Katie.....Enjoy Y'all....xoxo
