| It's no secret how much I ADORE Elizabeth Messina....her work is beyond STUNNING...I love touring her beautiful site, Kiss The Groom....always filled with so much gorgeous inspiration...Elizabeth can feature one image and one image only and it's totally AMAZING!! I'm so happy to have her stop by today to share her "Brown is Beautiful" feature....all gorgeous sepia images....images with a dark brown tint....I LOVE IT!!......Enjoy!

The Cafe "HEARTS" Elizabeth Messina
| Welcome back my lovely cafe readers....it's no secret how much we love Elizabeth Messina......her blog, Kiss The Groom is one of my daily stops for gorgeous inspiration....Elizabeth is the sweetest person and her work is beyond GORGEOUS....I just adore her....I had the pleasure to work with Elizabeth at her brother's wedding here in Virginia last year......you can check out the feature here! It's always so wonderful to get home and check my inbox and find an email from Elizabeth....she sent over the sweetest "Family Picnic" to share with us...the images are all so "picture perfect" and the family is simply beautiful......Enjoy!

Simply Elegant - Bride & Bloom Feature
Happy Monday Guys....so happy to have you stop by the cafe today....last fall I, JMFlora Design, was asked to design a "table decor" feature for the current issue of Bride & Bloom magazine....how fun and exciting to have your work featured in their gorgeous publication.....the theme for the shoot was "Simply Elegant"....so I called my friend and event stylist, Courtney Spencer of Merriment Events and enlisted her help. Once we decided on the color palette and the floral for the shoot, we contacted a few AMAZINGLY talented and oh-so-sweet vendors in the industry and it all came together so perfectly....AND....with Elizabeth Messina capturing all the magic of this feature for us...OMG, EVERYONE was totally over the moon to have their work photographed by Elizabeth!
I hope you will enjoy our "Simply Elegant" feature....we had so much fun putting this together for Bride & Bloom....thanks so much to Carol Poon and the staff....Enjoy!

| Courtney selected all the beautiful linens, stemware and china for the tables.....I love the soft blue color palette.

| For the floral we kept it simple...yet, elegant....white hydrangea, belles of Ireland, white snowberries, white ranunculus and burgundy dahilias for a "pop of color".......and we used birch covered containers as the vessel.

| The place cards, menu cards, table number and the cute "bride and groom" signs were designed by Kristy Rice of Momental Designs....Kristy's work is so beauiful!

| I love these cute little wooden place card holders......we purchased them from A Remark You Made...found on Etsy...I adore Etsy...so many great finds!!

| Ranunculus, Queen Anne's lace, green parrot tulips, dahilas, and helleborous make up this pretty garden bouquet!

| The gorgeous cakes were designed by Kristine Bender at K. Rose Cakes....Kristine's cakes are SO beautiful and SO good....and she is just the sweetest person...I adore her!!
