Letter From The Editor - It's My "B-Day"
Hi Guys....yes, today is MY BIRTHDAY.....I'm celebrating 51 years young....and I honestly feel as though I was just celebrating my 50th a few months ago...I can't believe that it has been a year...so last Sunday, I met up with my girl Erika...not only is she one of my best friends.....she is an AMAZING makeup artist....I love it when Erika does my makeup...we always have so much fun "girl talking" and catching up on what's going on in our lives......afterwards Steve (my guy) and I met up with Jodi and Kurt of Jodi Miller Photography, ....I made up a few bouquets and we all went downtown and Jodi and Kurt captured Steve and I doing what we do....."just kicking it and having fun"....we all had a blast!
I have to share with you that when I sit and think that I'm actually 51 years young, it truly blows my mind...it seems like it all happened so fast....I can remember celebrating my 30th birthday like it was yesterday....time really does fly and yes, you have to enjoy each and every day and make the most of it...follow your dreams and your passion and take care of yourselves and each other....surround yourselves with positive people.....negativity only brings you down and no one needs that......we are all here for a purpose...we are all special in our own way.
I hope that I will ALWAYS inspire you in some way each and every day that you visit the cafe....if I can put a smile on your face and give you the encouragement that you need to have a beautiful day, then you have truly made my day.....we all have a story to tell and you never know what someone maybe going through....so my birthday wish for all of you is to stay strong and follow your dream.....you know I always wanted to have my own magazine and now, here I am, writing The Bride's Cafe each day along side so many other wonderful bloggers who are young enough to be my daughters....dreams do come true...at any age!!!!.......xoxoxo
