Frances & Thad - Part II
Welcome back to Part II of Frances & Thad's beautiful Virginia wedding....if you are just joining us, make sure you check out Part I Here....AMAZING!!!!!! Capturing their wedding story is the on-so-sweet and talented Sarah of Cramer Photo...Sarah's work is always so picture perfect and Frances & Thad are just the perfect couple...I love their style and I know you will too...let's check out Part II of their AMAZING day...Enjoy!!

Here are all the details from Frances........

My dress was my grandmothers from 1942. Veil was bought on Etsy and was from 1917. Shoes were from BHLDN. Cocktail dress from 1950s from Dear Golden on Etsy. Thaddeus' suit was J. Crew.

Caterers were Dinner At Home. All vegetarian using local an organic produce. Egg free cake by Chelsea Grahame.

The Edwardian emerald and pearl necklace was borrowed from The Jewelers Eye.

The venue was Belle Haven on the James.

Our friend Aaron Hill played the oboe. The rest of the music was ipod. Entry was Sigur Ros, song title III. Exit song was Ho Hey by The Lumineers.

Chair and table and chalkboards rentals from Stonegate Event Rentals. Other chairs and tables from Festive Fair.

Flowers were purchased wholesale and arranged by me, my mother, my godfather and Jan (owner of Belle Haven) in family heirloom silver vases and assorted ditty pots.

All the plates, serving dishes, utensils, linens, tea cups, trays and serving ware were either family pieces or items I personally collected at antique stores throughout VA in the year of our engagement.

Keys were all collected in Virginia and India as well as some were from my family home. I did all the "calligraphy" (i quote that because it was really just my wonky handwriting).

I made save the dates, flower girl basket and petal cones.

Invitations and table numbers by Love vs. Design in Brooklyn.

Welcome notes by Jen Fleischer.

Hair by Austin Burns.

No official planner or day of coordinator instead a family friend helped with organization on day of. I did all the vendor organization and "styling".

You know how I love showing images of the wedding guests!!

Frances changed into her second dress for the reception...how cute is the dress and coat!!

All the beautiful florals were DIY....all so pretty and don't you love all the mix-match dining chairs!!
