Real Hong Kong Wedding: Sumei & Ern

Welcome back to the gorgeous wedding of Sumei & Ern....their wedding is filled with beauty and elegance....their wedding story was captured by CK of 39 East Photography. CK is AWESOME...he ROCKS and he is such a nice person...so sit back and check out all the beauty he captured along with his AWESOME assistant, Aloysius...... they totally captured all the magic of Sumei & Ern's beautiful wedding day.....Enjoy!

CK shares a little info with us......"When Ern and Sumei were planning their wedding, holding the wedding in Hong Kong seemed like a natural choice as the groom, Ern had grown up there and the couple had spent a great deal of time in energy filled Hong Kong during their courtship. The couple's special day consisted of a church ceremony in the morning followed by an intimate reception at the Hong Kong Country Club in the evening.

For the ceremony at Union Church, the couple wanted a rustic, laid back carnival setting. To share their fondest memories of growing up, the couple had a candy corner with their favorite candies from their childhood, as well as finger food like mini burgers and a lemonade stand.

For the reception, the couple wanted to continue their childhood theme form their church ceremony, with yellow being their primary color scheme. The dining tables had centerpieces consisting of clear vases filled with yellow orchids. Small details such as silk butterflies accentuated the garden theme.

During the reception the bride Sumei surprised the groom with an acappella rendition of Garth Brook's "To Make you Feel My Love," which she sang alongside her acappella group from college. A friend of the groom's father did a beautiful reading of The Prophet on Marriage by Khalil Gibran."

Thanks so much CK for stopping by today...as always, your work is gorgeous...guys make certain you head over to 39 East Photography's blog site to see more beautiful "eye candy"....and to Sumei & Ern...we wish you a lifetime of happiness and joy!!
