Real Indian Wedding - Rupal & Tien
Say hello to Rupal & Tien....their beautiful wedding was captured by Kristen Taylor of  Kristen Taylor Photography ....Kristen's work is so beautiful and I'm so excited to have her stop by the cafe and share Rupal & Tien's special day with us.....Misty Trompeter of Bells & Bliss Events and her wonderful team did an AMAZING job of planning and event design....and all of the beautiful "wedding paper goods" were designed by Tifany Wunschl of Gourmet Invitations.....Tifany's work is always so beautiful and she is such a sweetheart to work with....let's check out all the special moments of their beautiful day...Enjoy!

Misty Trompter, Designer/Coordinator shares a little info with us....."Rupal had a smoke/blue color scheme in mind from the beginning.  Being that she would have a traditional Indian ceremony it was important to use golds/reds/oranges in her floral and mandap.  We kept this theme with her sari and paper products for this event.

Going into the cocktail space, the bride initially wanted a Miami-Beach theme but we felt like the hybrid between her traditional ceremony and ultra modern reception would a Moroccan theme using vibrant colors and modern soft seating. The food in the cocktail space was fun and super yummy with Tapas and Sangria stations.  The entire menu was customized by the chef to suit the vegetarian preferences by many of the guests that were Jain. The entree was a Pumpkin Truffle Risotto with Chanterelle and Trumpet Mushroom Saute - which was sensational and seemed to fit perfectly with the season.

The reception space had a clean look using smoke gray bengaline moiré linens, silver chivari chairs with storm navy pads and storm navy napkins.  We used very little floral (Indians that are Jain are opposed to killing life which include trees and plants).  We used curly willow and birch branches with white dendrobium orchids tied along each brand.  Some tables had square vases with submerged with cymbidium orchids."

Beautiful floral designs by Christopher & Company!
