We are starting the day off with our beautiful friend and makeup artist extraordinaire, Lauren Napier of Lauren Napier Weddings....Lauren is taking a few minutes out of her busy schedule to share a few amazing makeup tips to share with all the bridesmaids today...let's see what fun tips Lauren has for us....Enjoy!!

"Calling all bridesmaids! You've made it through the season without  expanding your dress size, won the impossible mission and found the matching shoes, selected the perfect nail polish color that doesn't
clash with your bouquet. So what's next? Covering the tan-lines that you got during the bachelorette party weekend. Go for a head to toe golden goddess look, it will eliminate the tan-lines and make you look  like the "hot bridesmaid" at the wedding.

Begin with your makeup;  apply a concealer one shade lighter than
your  foundation throughout the eye area, high plains of the face and  the  cheekbones. Apply liquid foundation with a moistened sponge in a stippling motion then blend outward toward the hairline, temple and chin. Lightly powder with a shimmering blush or bronzer. Be sure to blend the face,  and down into the jawbone and neck for the perfect bronze look.

* Remember to hydrate, makeup always glides onto hydrated skin more smoothly. Use a blend, 3 parts foundation and 1 part bronzer to create  an even bronzed skin tone throughout your neck, chest upward into the  jawbone. Buff your custom blend foundation onto the skin with a short  haired buffer makeup brush. Powder your foundation blend with a loose  translucent powder to ensure a smudge proof bronzed bod.

Will you be a bronzed goddess at your best friend's wedding?"

"The summer’s first holiday has arrived!  It's the start of vacation season and weekend get aways.  As we pack our bags to get out of town, don’t forget to pack the perfect all day, every day multi-use makeup.

The La Roche- Posay Daily Moisturizer SPF 40 is a breakthrough daily moisturizer that contains a unique organic UV filter that is highly protective against UVA/UVB protection for all skin tones $31.50

The tinted moisturizer is available in 9 shades that can be used in place of foundation for a natural appearance while adding a healthy glow to your complexion. Perfect for a day at the beach or an afternoon BBQ. $42.00

Cover Girl’s Queen Bronzer in Light Bronze adds a healthy glow and evens a sun-kissed complexion while it’s shine-absorbing powder adds glow and zaps grease. $8.00

The Christian Dior 5-Color Eye Shadow Palette in Amber Design is my top pick for best all-purpose eye shadow palette. From apricot to chocolate, these refined, versatile powders produce eye-opening definition. This versatile palette can be used to create every eye combo from the daytime nude to the evening smoky eye. $58.00

Covergirl’s LashBlast Length Water Resistant Mascara is a warm weather, BBQ and beach party staple. It’s water resistant formula gives lashes flex without flaking, and moisture without a mess! $6.00

It's the "Holiday Season" and I thought it would be fun to start the day off with a few makeup tips from the oh-so-fabulous and talented, makeup artist, Lauren Napier of Lauren Napier Weddings.....it's ALWAYS so much fun when Lauren stops by to share a few "beauty tips" with us....let's check out what Lauren has in store for us today....thanks Lauren!!

"There's no time like the holidays.  We board planes, load onto trains, then head to our childhood homes. Minimizing your primp time and your makeup bag is key to getting through airport security and keeping the "peace on earth" while sharing the powder room at grandma's house."

Makeup Must Haves:

Leave the tweezers at home...try Anastasia's Clear Brow Gel to tame unruly eyebrows.

Liquid Eye Liner....is timeless and gives eyes definition in seconds.

Cargo's Bronzer in Medium....brightens your cheeks and lifts your complexion.

Khiel's Lip Gloss...hydrates and creates a warm glow.  Neutral lip color is perfect for holiday dinners.  The color won't stain your hostess dinner linens or leave smooch marks all over your family and friends.
